our theme for this term is art. Today we are finishing of our Immersion Assembly

Boys to Men movie recount

Walt:Recount key points of the movie.

This morning the year 7 and some of the year 8 watched a movie and the name
of the movie is Boy 2 Men.After we've watch the movie we get to do the recount
for the movie.

Mrs Ilaoa's Farewell poster

As you can see this is Mrs Ilaoa's Farewell poster. Our lovely teacher of Room 5.Mrs Ilaoa is leaving to have her baby. While she is gone we are going to have Ms Muliamasealii. We will miss you so much Mrs Ilaoa have a great long holiday with you, your baby and your family. Rm 5 wishes you all the best and we all hope you stay safe and we can't wait to see you again when you vist and when you come back to school in term 4.

This week in literacy we have been learning about inferences. In this presentation there are stories in here like, hide and go seek, ladybird, brushes and hedgehog and  mako sharks. We also had to read the text of the story and find the answer to the questions.

2nd narrative writing

Walt: Included language features.

As I looked behind me something began to move. It was a girl and she look strange, I walked to her to say hi. I introduce myself and said, “hi my name is Addy”. The girl said, my “name is Annabelle” with scary, ghost sort of voice. I was so scared I ran and ran until I got to my friend house. When I saw her I dragged her into her room and told her about the girl. I acted out what happened and she told me something very important. She said, “nobody has ever talked to her because they say that whoever does will be haunted”. Now I was scared forever. I said, “what happen to her and Ella” (my friend) said, “she was angry and she was going for a hike in the woods and got lost, I started calling my mom, I said to my mum I was so scared but my mum wouldn't believe that Annabelle would haunted me……………………..

This week we did narrative writing, We made our own docs and wrote our narrative write. We used language features to make our writing more interesting. I like doing narrative writing because you get to make your own character and make up your own things.
